Clumps mod client side

From Minecraft 1.17 onward, Clumps is server-side: install it on the server and players can join with a vanilla or modded client. In singleplayer, your game runs its own server, so put Clumps in your own mods folder. On 1.16.5 and older, it must be installed on both client and server.

Clumps mod Paper & Clumps plugin

Paper and Spigot servers can't load mods. They already merge XP orbs, controlled by merge-radius.exp in spigot.yml:

A third-party Paper plugin named “Clumps” by InventoXtar also exists on Hangar. It is not made by Jaredlll08 and isn't connected to this mod.

Clumps datapack

There is no official Clumps datapack — Clumps is only released as a mod.

Troubleshooting

• Orbs aren't merging: check Clumps is installed on the server (or in your mods folder for singleplayer).
• Crash on launch: make sure the Clumps file matches your loader and Minecraft version.
• Can't join an old server: on 1.16.5 and older, install the same Clumps version on your client.
