Check whether the pack already includes it
Search the active mods list before adding another jar. Record the existing Minecraft and loader versions, and check whether the pack manager controls the instance files. Editing a managed installation manually can make later updates harder to track.
Create a test copy
Duplicate the instance through your launcher or pack workflow and back up a representative world. Add only the matching Clumps file, then test startup, world loading and a familiar XP collection task. Keep the full log and list of changed files.
Document the pack update
When sharing the updated pack, include the Clumps filename and the environment used in testing. Explain installation requirements for the Minecraft version you support and provide a way to return to the previous pack release. Avoid combining this change with a broad loader upgrade unless you can test and document that larger update separately.
Next step: read the installation guide or find a matching download.
